RJTK Leadership Development Programme - Graduation

The RJTK Training Academy has seen it's first cohort successfully complete a Leadership Development Programme. A nine month schedule of sessions lead by coach Sue MacPherson saw twelve members of the RJTK Automotive group complete the programme with a presentation to the board of directors.

  • Our selected twelve future-leaders and managers enrolled on the course last October and it has seen them complete a journey of understanding which has applied in both the workplace and for themselves personally. It has also clarified what they want for the future and helped them set their stall out to achieve it. Insights reports gave them a greater understanding of their personality traits and how to best channel them within their daily lives. The insights have also helped them to understand how their teams view them, enabling them to learn to develop and grow as leaders.

  • A series of presentations were watched by the board members who then had an opportunity to ask questions and get their own insight into how much the delegates had learnt and at times it was clear to see that the journey had been emotional for some!

Even more admirable is that already, half of the group have achieved promotion within their role. Robin Wilson, Group Managing Director presented the team members with an award to recognise their commitment to the programme which will soon see it's second cohort start on their journey.

  • Robin commented, 'It is great to see how much the group have embraced this inaugural programme and the internal promotions on their journey further endorses the content and purpose. Many businesses may question whether they can afford to invest in training and development at this current time. For me, the question is whether they can afford not to! We look forward to welcoming the next cohort of delegates onto this excellent programme. The future is bright!'
