So you've bought a new car - what next?
We all know that buying a new car is probably the second largest purchase you make in life! So of course it's important to carefully consider how you plan to look after it!
We wouldn't be looking after you if we didn't tell you about Paint and Fabric Protection for your new car.
Due to environmental demands, car manufacturers now have to use water based paints. Whilst being environmentally safe, they are prone to fading and oxidization. Diamondbrite is made from refined rock oils that are formulated into a 2 stage process so that each product compliments the next and builds up to create a tough durable glaze. The entire process when carried out at Wilson and Co is covered by a guarantee* from the date the product is applied.
The hard, high gloss protective skin that Diamondbrite creates prevents road salts, traffic film, acid rain, tree sap, insect fluid and other atmospheric pollutants from contacting directly with your cars paintwork. Diamondbrite comes with a guarantee which gives cover against colour fading, as well as from damage caused by bird droppings if washed off within 7 days.
Once treated with Diamondbrite, you'll never have to polish your car again. Your vehicle will look as good as it did when it left ournshowroom, thereby improving its resale value. Another major benefit of Diamondbrite's high gloss finish is the ease with which dirt and grime is washed off the paintwork.
To maintain the vehicles appearance, simply wash down using the Diamondbrite Car Shampoo. We recommend this is followed by the use of Diamondbrite Conserver (on a monthly basis as a rinse). Both the shampoo and conserver are supplied when the car is Diamondbrited in the first instance.
When your Diamondbrite treatment is complete you will receive a complimentary Wilson and Co Take Home Pack*. The contents may vary but will include some or all of the following:
Shampoo; Conserver; Upholstery cleaner; Glass Cleaner; Waterless Wash and Wax, Jumbo Sponge; Rainscreen Rain Repellent , Bird Dropping Remover; Micro Fibre Cloth & Screenwash
It’s all you need to keep your car treatment looking its best.
* Contents may differ, please ask for details
During the Diamondbrite Fabric Protection process each fibre is coated with an invisible resin based material. After treatment your fabric will be guaranteed against normal everyday spills and stains - perfect to keep your new vehicle looking as good as new!
Will I have to reapply the paint protection?
In the UK this product is guaranteed for the life that you own the vehicle, so unless you have an accident, you will not need to wax, reapply or renew it within that time frame. In other countries with extreme climatic conditions the length of the guarantee may vary.
How often should I clean or polish the vehicle?
A regular wash with Diamondbrite Car Shampoo and water or Diamondbrite Waterless Wash & Wax (or similar, but not dishwashing detergent) will be all your vehicle requires. The new formula of Diamondbrite does not necessarily need the Conserver but you will notice enhanced protection if it is used as a wash additive.
What happens if a spillage leaks into my fabric after Diamondbrite has been applied?
Some vehicle upholstery is made up of loosely woven fibres, which will allow liquids to pass between the fibres. The important thing is that liquids will not impregnate or stain the individual fibres and can be mopped up easily with a damp cloth or cleaned using Diamondbrite Upholstery Cleaner
If the vehicle sustains damage, does it need to be reapplied?
After an accident, as part of the insurance claim, the paintwork needs to be recoated but the cost of this can be claimed from the insurance company with proof of purchase. Please contact Wilson and Co should you sustain damage and we can assist.
Who registers my guarantee?
Wilson and Co will do this one the kit has been applied.
