What Van? Awards 2024: One to Watch – Maxus eDeliver 7
Maxus has positioned itself at the forefront of the drive towards electrification in the LCV sector with the launch of its eDeliver 3 compact van and eDeliver 9 large van, as well as taking the bold step of introducing the first electric pick-up truck to the market in the shape of the T90EV. Maxus eDeliver 7 panel van will sit between the eDeliver 3 and eDeliver 9 in the brand’s line-up.
The eDeliver 7 medium van is set to be its most significant BEV launch to date, when it joins the market’s highest-volume segment in January 2024.
Production of the eDeliver 7 started is in full flow with Maxus predicting a 60/40 fleet/retail sales split for the van.
Equipped with an 88kWh battery, the eDeliver 7 offers a range of up to 226 miles on a single charge, according to Maxus. A claimed 80% charge is possible in 43 minutes with a DC charger. The van is available in three size configurations: L1 H1 with a load volume of 5.9m3, L2 H1 with a load volume of 6.7m3 and L2 H2 with a load volume of 8.7m3. Maximum payload across the line-up is 1,200kg.
