Drayton Motors are Electric, it’s official!

We are proud to announce that our Drayton Motors Kia dealerships in Boston, Louth & Grantham have received their Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) accreditation.

The EVA scheme (Electric Vehicle Approved) has been developed by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) to recognise retailers’ excellence in the electric vehicle sector. The Electric Vehicle Approved scheme is endorsed by the Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and the Energy Saving Trust (EST).

  • Launched in 2019, the scheme, sponsored by the UK Government, encourages dealerships to further develop their ability in selling and servicing electric vehicles and recognises dealers’ expertise in the EV sector and promotes industry standards for the benefit of the consumer.

The Energy Saving Trust (EST) independently audits individual dealerships to verify that they meet a set of standards covering EV sales and aftersales. These include the customer qualification process, staff knowledge and training, EV demonstration and handover processes as well as availability of EV service bays and charge points on site.

The teams at Drayton Motors Kia have worked very hard to achieve EVA Approved status, which adds to our family-like car ethos and passion for ‘Driving Excellence.’

‘Product knowledge and great customer service have always been at the heart of what we offer’ said Darren Bradford, Managing Director ‘The fact that our three Drayton Motors Kia dealerships have achieved EVA accreditation means that it is official – our customers have never been in better hands when it comes to reviewing their next step forward and considering an electric or hybrid model. Both Sales & Service teams have worked hard to ensure that everyone has a clear understanding of EV models and can talk knowledgeably to answer questions that we know our customers have.’
