MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR FOR KIA AT AM AWARDS 2023

Kia UK Limited has once again been awarded the ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ at the AM Awards 2023, alongside the Sportage which won ‘Used Car of the Year’, marking a double win for the brand.

• The awards were independently voted for by AM’s readers, as well as analysed by its expert panel of judges. For both awards, Kia was applauded for its attractive product line-up, innovative business strategy, and excellent partnership with its dealer network.

  The Sportage, Kia's most popular model, received the award for ‘Used Car of the Year’, having won AM’s acclaimed ‘New Car of the Year’ award in 2022. Now in its fifth generation, the car features full hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, offering customers a range of efficient powertrain options. The model has won numerous awards for its versatility, practicality and reliability - supported by Kia’s pioneering seven-year/100,000-mile warranty.

  Commenting on the Sportage win, Rose added: “The results of the vote show that the motor retail industry has so much love for the Kia Sportage on the used car market. It’s easy to understand why. The Sportage resonates well with used car buyers as it has proved reliable and robust. Equipment levels are generous, with premium-car features like keyless entry and heated seats featured across most models in the line-up. Kia’s famous transferable seven-year warranty means used cars less than five years old will also be covered by manufacturer warranty, a great incentive for prospective buyers.   Kia’s success at the AM Awards 2023 follows the brand's impressive results in previous years, having won ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ for the past two years, while also winning ‘Franchise Partner of the Year’ in 2020, 2019, and 2017.

  In addition, Kia has received more praise from the industry in 2023, being named ‘Manufacturer Partner of the Year’ by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) while also retaining its ‘Green Manufacturer of the Year’ status for the second year running.
