    Had such a lovely experience at omoda in Grantham today. From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming and professional, but a special mention has to go to the lovely young female member of staff who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout. She made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable with no pressure at all. After such fantastic customer service, we will definitely be returning when we’re ready to purchase a car. Highly recommend omoda to anyone looking for a genuine and pleasant car-buying experience

    Update 05.05 Please see attached image where salesperson confirms the car has full VW service history before the date the car was purchased. The evidence in this matter is clear and despite multiple opportunities for the dealership to resolve this, they have chosen not to. They proceed to mention advertisements when their own salesperson confirmed by email that the car comes with VW service history. I would think carefully before trusting this dealer with money you’ve earnt as they seem to have no respect for their customers. Update 30.04 This doesn’t address the main issue raised in that the vehicle was described to me as having full Volkswagen service history, which is not supported by the records. Instead, your responses have focused on repeating points about the service schedule rather than addressing the discrepancy in how the vehicle was described at the point of sale. I have followed this up directly and asked for the matter to be reviewed by management, but I have not received a response or any resolutionWhen I went to buy a nearly new car a few weeks ago, I found a 2023 Volkswagen Taigo with 11k miles advertised by Drayton Motors as having full VW service history. On viewing, there were a few issues with the car (white staining on a seat and wear/pilling in the boot liner). These were pointed but not properly recorded on theworks agreedform, and I was left chasing for confirmation on whether they would be addressed before collection. Communication from the salesperson Mollie was inconsistent, vague, and at times overly casual given the situation. (Signing off emails with "cheersI ended up calling the dealership for clarity, and the sales manager I spoke to was helpful and professional, which was a relief.. but it shouldn’t have taken chasing and escalation just to get basic answers. Collection day itself went smoothly, and I was told the service history was electronic and available through Volkswagen. The next day, VW provided the service record, which showed only one VW service (March 2024). After going back to the dealership to raise the issue, I was sent that same service plus another carried out by them in October 2025. At that point it became clear the vehicle did not have full VW service history as originally advertised. When I raised this, instead of addressing the issue, the response repeatedly focused on the service schedule beingflexibleand that their own service was just part of preparation. That completely misses the pointthe car was specifically described to me as having full VW service history, which it does not. I have this in writing, and I also have confirmation from VW regarding the service records. Despite this, I’ve had to continue chasing, and after asking for the matter to be escalated to management, I’ve had no response. Overall, the car itself is good, but the experience has been poor. Issues raised weren’t properly documented, communication was lacking, and the vehicle was inaccurately described at the point of sale. I am now seeking a resolution and expect someone from the dealership to contact me to address this properly. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend them

Following this review, we would like to clarify that at no point was the vehicle advertised by Drayton Motors OMODA JAECOO Grantham as having a full Volkswagen service history. We will provide you with a copy of the original advert for transparency, which confirms this. As such, we cannot agree that the vehicle was inaccurately described at the point of sale. We understand your position, however from our side all available service history was disclosed to you, including the service carried out by ourselves as part of the vehicle’s preparation. We also explained the variable servicing schedule applicable to this vehicle. While we acknowledge that you feel this point has not been addressed, our findings remain consistent following a full review of the facts and documentation available.     Upon visiting my parents in Chapel St Leonard’s for Easter break we decided tohave a look at the J7at Jaecoo in Lough seeing as we were completely ignored in our local branch in Cannock, Staffs and nearly gave up looking we were welcomed by the two staff members on site that day. There was no pushyness no desperate sales techniques just nice people! They were that nice I ended up buying a J7 there and then after sitting down with Danny totalk figuresA total of 1.5 hours that’s all I was there for from having a look in the demo models in store to picking my car - which I collected the following weekend! I had my partner, dad (who gets inpatient fast) and baby in tow whilst there and they were also made to feel extremely welcome. Coffee and toilet breaks on tap. Danny explained everything to me, including how to operate the car the day I collected it. He kept me up to date in the week with the progress and what he needed from me etc. The whole sale was smooth and easy from start to finish. We were able to have a laugh with Danny, tell him what we needed and could afford and he was more than happy to help us out in every aspect. Was by far the best car buying experience I’ve had in a long long time. I will even go back to have the car serviced there even though it’s 136 miles away. My dad is even looking at getting a car from there in the next few months. Love my new car - so far so good!! Thanks Jaecoo Louth and to Danny.

    Don’t buy an Omoda 9, and don’t buy it from Drayton motors. Had car from new for 5 months, multiple sensor failures, major safety issue with cruise control trying to drive me into the car in front. None of which accepted or acknowledged by Drayton motors as they saidcomputer says NoGave car back to them at a personal cost to me of £10,000! Don’t make the same mistake I did pleaseHappy to discuss my experience with any senior member of Omoda UK or Drayton Motors, but not local management.

I do, however, feel it’s important to clarify a few points for transparency. Throughout your time with us, we had your vehicle in on multiple occasions to investigate the concerns you reported. On each visit, our technicians carried out thorough diagnostics but were unfortunately unable to replicate the issues described, and there were no historical fault codes stored within the vehicle. As I’m sure you can appreciate, without being able to reproduce or identify a fault, it becomes very difficult for us to take corrective action or escalate a case further with the manufacturer. We also suggested the option of obtaining a second opinion, as we wanted to ensure you had every opportunity to have complete peace of mind regarding the vehicle. When you later asked whether we would purchase the car back from you, we provided a valuation based on the current fair market value. At no point were you under any obligation to proceed with this, and you were entirely free to explore alternative options, including selling the vehicle elsewhere. The decision to sell the car back to us was ultimately yours. That said, I am truly sorry that your experience has led to this outcome, as it’s never the journey we want for any of our customers.     I was recommended by a former colleague to visit Drayton Motors O&J Louth after a bad experience at a Ford dealership. Having been welcomed by Dan & Danny this started a fantastic journey to buy a J7 shs. The showroom is modern,clean and comfortable and the staff so friendly and helpful! The experience from start to finish was calming being shown how to use my new car with a great handover from Danny! Cars are well presented with good knowledge from the staff on site. Could not have been any better and look forward to our continuing journey with the two Dan's and Drayton Motors!

    Everything went well, and nothing was too much trouble for the team at Louth; Danny or Dan. (And being offered a hot chocolate from theposhmachine was an added bonus when popping inI had more dealings with Danny, who was very patient and allayed any fears I might have. I found him to be trustworthy and honest and I could call on him for advice at my leisure. I never felt any pressure, which made the experience much better. When Danny wasn’t available and I spoke to Dan, he was also very pleasant, and answered my questions in a professional but personable manner.

    After an awful experience with a different garage coming to Drayton motors jaceoo and OMODA was exactly the right place to come cannot recommend Danny lowis enough was absolutely incredible! Ensured I had a car within a few days, made the whole experience a positive one explained everything so clear and went above and beyond. Ace guy, makes you feel comfortable from the second you walk in, place is so clean,professional and friendly, couldn’t have picked a better place or person to help me pick my family car!     The whole experience with Ed was brilliant looked after us extremely well I would definitely recommend Drayton Omoda.
