Vauxhall has confirmed prices for the latest addition to its fully electric passenger car range, Astra Electric. Available in two trim lines from launch – sporty GS and top-of-the-range Ultimate – prices for the first ever fully electric Astra will start from £40,145 OTR. Orders are now open with first deliveries due later this summer.

The Astra Electric features Vauxhall’s next-generation 54kWh lithium-ion battery for improved performance, with up to 258 miles of range between charges (WLTP) and is available with the brand’s most advanced technology suite yet, Intelli-Drive 2.0 – adding semi-autonomous lane change and intelligent speed adaption.

Astra Electric available in two highly-equipped trim lines; GS and Ultimate
As part of Vauxhall’s simplified trim line-up, the Astra Electric is available in two highly-equipped trim levels – sporty GS and top-of-the-range Ultimate.
GS models come with 18-inch bi-colour black alloy wheels, black Vizor frame and detailing as well as a black roof and door mirrors. LED headlights with high beam assist are standard on GS models too.
Inside, all models come with Pure Panel Pro infotainment with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, and voice activated navigation. Safety on board is improved via Intelli-Drive 2.0 featuring automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane change assist with blind side spot alert, forward collision alert and rear cross traffic alert.
Ultimate variants add IntelliLux Pixel Matrix LED® headlights with 168 individual LED lights. Ultimate models also come with Intelli-Air climate control, Intelli-HUD head-up display and bi-colour alloy wheels
A panoramic roof adds to the interior ambiance, while a heated steering wheel and Alcantara® covered heated seats improve comfort. Wireless smartphone charging is included, as is Intelli-Drive 2.0, featuring lane change and positioning assist with blind side spot alert, and rear cross traffic alert.
