Get to 80% fast
When using DC charging, Kia electric cars’ charging speeds slow down once the battery reaches 80% state of charge to help preserve the battery’s longevity.
It takes as long to charge from 0% to 80% as it does from 80% to 100%. If you are focused on completing a journey as fast as possible, you’ll want to make sure you only charge up to 80% capacity.
Bear this in mind and plan accordingly to help save time on longer journeys.
No access to Home Charging?
If you rely solely on public charging it is worth researching operators like Source London, Ubitricity, or Connected Kerb as these providers specifically offer convenient near-home charging for drivers without a driveway or off-street parking.
Charging providers are continuously improving and adding to their charging locations and offer value for charging terms for local residents.
