What is Motability?

Drayton Motors Kia have always had a strong partnership with Motability and we have over 3,000 customers currently on the scheme. We also have great relationships with local companies who have the know how and skills to adapt vehicles to suit the needs of our customers.

If you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) , the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS) or the Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) you may be eligible to join the Motability Scheme. You can choose from a huge variety of Kia vehicles and drive away with insurance, tax and maintenance all covered by the scheme.

Do I need to create an online account?

For your own convenience, we would recommend setting up an online Motability account. To speed up the process when you visit us in dealership, you can pre-register your personal details and allowance information, leaving us more time to find the right vehicle to suit your needs.

Are you an existing Motability customer? You can order your next next vehicle directly online by selecting ‘New car application’ and following the on-screen instructions.

Support with charging your electric car

If you’re leasing your first fully electric car on the Motability Scheme, we’ll support you with charging your car.

Motability will arrange and cover the cost of a home chargepoint and a standard installation.

You’ll have to pay extra if you need a non-standard installation. For example, if your parking space is not next to your home or your electrical equipment needs to be upgraded.

Or, if you do not have off-street parking or you cannot have a home chargepoint installed, we’ll give you access to the bp pulse network of over 9,000 public chargepoints instead.
